A festival for
the curious

ACROSS Festival is a classical music festival for all curious listeners, whether you are new to classical music or already know it well.

The festival is set in the small and charming LiteraturHaus in Nørrebro — one of Copenhagen's most creative and vibrant neighbourhoods. The bar is right there in the hall and stays open, so you can bring a drink to your seat, stay between concerts, and enjoy the evening at your own pace.

We aim to create an informal and welcoming atmosphere, where you can experience the musicians up close. At the heart of the festival is the meeting between three of the most exciting young chamber music groups, sharing the stage and exploring what happens when their worlds come together.

The programme moves in different directions: well known pieces, music you might not have heard before — it's a bit of everything, really, and that's the point!

We gather in September, at the very end of summer — the perfect moment to enjoy the last warmth and light of the season. Across two days and four concerts, we invite you to come soak in the music and enjoy the moment in good company.
